Loop schematic and experiment flow chart. Visit 1 and 2 both measure UPDRS and is followed by 1 h of stimulation washout. After washout, rigidity is measured at all frequencies between 10-185 Hz during visit 1, and at 4 seed frequencies (30, 80, 90, and 140 Hz) during visit 2. Visit 2 then uses BayesOpt to guide frequency selection for 8 iterations. All rigidity measurements follows the loop diagram starting with the movement disorder specialist programming the frequency on the participant’s implantable pulse generator
